He was born in Punta Carretas, Montevideo (1954). He studies at the Nelson Ramos Center for Artistic Expression (1977). He was a member of the group Octaedro, a conceptual collective (1979 -1980). He works as an illustrator for the weekly El País Cultural (1993-2004). His narrative compositions are distinguished by a critical humor that cuts through stories and protagonists.
He took an Engraving course with David Finkbeiner at the National Museum of Visual Arts (1986). Paper making course with Lawrence Baker at the National Museum of Visual Arts (1987). To date, he works as a teacher at the National School of Fine Arts Institute.
He obtained an Intercampus Program scholarship in Barcelona, Spain teaching classes in the Chair of Pictorial Procedures at the University of Barcelona, Spain (1997). Study Trip through Italy and Spain (1997)
His work is found in public and private collections in Uruguay and abroad.
