#3 SANGUINE N°15 ORIGINAL FRANCISCO DE GOYA MAN AND BULL CERTIFIED
FRANCISCO DE GOYA (Spanish School, 1746-1828) Sanguine on paper. 21 x 31. On the back, wet stamp in red ink with the inscription “Zaragoza”, certified in the handwriting of Eduardo Llosent y Marañón, former director of the National Museum of Modern Art in Madrid, dated February 3, 1959: “This drawing that represents a gentleman impaling a bull is an original work by Francisco de Goya.” Provenance: Eduardo Llosent y Marañón (1905-1969), director of the National Museum of Modern Art in Madrid Private Collection. Condition: As seen in the photos, missing paper at the bottom that does not affect the image of the work; you can request additional photos with the certificate details on the back.
